Recently, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan began installing the first border pillars along their shared border, starting from the junction where the borders of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan meet. This marks another important milestone in implementing the historic border agreement signed earlier this year, reflecting growing trust, cooperation, and a shared commitment to lasting peace after decades of border disputes.
For many years, unresolved border issues brought tension and conflict to communities living along the border. The installation of these border pillars is more than a practical achievement, it is a visible sign of reconciliation, restored relationships, and the willingness of neighboring nations to pursue peace together.
Across our prayer houses, we have been faithfully praying for peace, unity, and God’s purposes to be established throughout Central Asia. This encouraging development reminds us that God is at work among the nations, softening hearts, guiding leaders, and opening the way for greater cooperation and stability.
Let us continue to pray for Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, that peace will continue to grow throughout the region, that wisdom will guide every leader involved, and that this spirit of cooperation will create greater opportunities for the Gospel to advance.
